Spring It On
I just got back from the most incredible spring break trip to Mammoth! I headed up with a few friends from medical school and had a blast skiing on my fourth trip this season (really using that Ikon pass), hiking around a beautiful alpine lake, and spending our nights laughing around the dinner table. It felt so good to disconnect and reset my energy before heading back into our final block of med school for the year (so crazy!).
While we were hiking around the lake in Mammoth, my friend Tiff and I reflected on how much growth and change has occurred since this time last year. Last summer, we both met for a cup of coffee, which spontaneously turned into traveling through Washington before school started. Since that trip, I’ve started medical school, moved into an apartment, developed new friendships and dived deeper into existing ones, recently took on the role of Wellness Advocate for my med school class, and embraced my 2022 intention of coming home to myself (aka realigning with my values, passions, and things that bring me joy). I didn’t realize how much had happened in less than a year until I truly disconnected and honored the ups and downs that have brought me to this new chapter in my life. If you haven’t already, feel free to reflect on how your individual, unique path has changed over the past year. I bet you may even find some lovely growth in your journey as well.
As we “sping forward” into this new season of rebirth and transformation, we can also find gratitude for the path that has gotten us here. We’ll explore this intention more in yoga tomorrow morning! For those of you who are local to O.C., I’ll be teaching class in our backyard at 11 A.M. Feel free to reach out if you need the address or have any questions. I hope to flow with you soon and hear all about what you’ve been up to lately!
