2019 Snack Recap
2019 was filled with lots of yoga, intentions, and of course, fun new snacks! Here are some of my favorites, for this upcoming decade and beyond:
Cult Crackers
If I ever join a cult, you know it’ll be this one. The owners Birgitta and Dianna bake their “classic seed crackers” and grain-free cassava crackers locally in Berkeley! I got to visit them at their kitchen and chat over dried fruit, hummus, and crackers of course. These are the cleanest crackers I’ve ever had, and I would highly recommend! Also, they don’t taste like cardboard, which is always a plus haha and a real first world problem when trying to find healthy crackers. You can use the code “Anjali” for 25% off any online orders through January 31st.
Perfect Bar
I’ve been a fan of Perfect Bar for a few years now, and my fridge is always stocked with the mini almond butter/peanut butter bars! I like to throw them in my backpack before class or crumble them over oatmeal/yogurt. Each bar has 20 organic superfoods, so you get all those extra nutrients in addition to nut butter. You can find these bars just about anywhere—Berkeley Bowl, Gelson’s, TJ’s, etc.
Sweet Diane’s
I met (Sweet) Diane at a local grocery store in Berkeley! She told me about her granola, and the rest is history. I normally go for a simple unflavored granola, but Diane mailed me some orange cranberry granola, and it was so good! She uses an essential orange oil instead of artificial flavors—as a person who literally drinks essential oils, I’m all for this. You can find her products in Berkeley and SF at Rainbow Market, Vegan Republic, and Falletti’s.
Flax4Life Brownies
Had to end on a sweet note! I love dark chocolate, so these little brownies are the perfect remedy for my midday (let’s be real: all the time) sweet tooth. They’re filled with lots of Omega 3 and fiber, and are also gluten-free. Don’t let the “flax” in the title scare you—these brownies know how to flex. ;)
Try it out for yourself though! Use the code “anjaliadventures” to get 25% off your online purchase until March 31st.
I hope you enjoy all of these fun, healthy snacks as we head into the new year! They’re truly some of my favorites, so I’ve been excited to share them with all of you. A big shoutout to all of these brands and my friend Anna for helping me out with this post.
Here’s to 2020, friends!
