Wild(flower) About Spring
Happy wildflower season! Seeing all of the vibrant flowers this spring (and every spring) reminds me that beautiful things always bloom with time. This season has been a little extra busy with big med school exams coming up, and going out to the flowers and mountains has naturally become my favorite study break. Being outdoors always makes me feel present, grounded, and just fully alive. Just throw some colorful wildflowers in there and it’sactual perfection.
If you’re heading to the trails this season, have a wonderful time and take in all the beautiful views! At the same time, please be cognizant of where you’re stepping, so we can continue to respect our lovely Mother Earth. I’m all for taking photos and videos, and you can still do that with lots of different angles without stepping on the flowers. There’s different articles online, with some deeming poppies resilient, while others describing that even walking between the flowers can compact the soil and destroy their roots. Regardless, it’s always best to be safe and watch your step. :)
I hope spring has been treating you well with more daylight, lots of flowers, and even spring break if you’re in school. It’s such a nice season for visualizing growth in all of its different phases and the beauty that comes with it. Thanks for being careful on the trails, and I hope you enjoy this lovely season. You grow, girl!
